Did you ever get an answer to this? I have the same microwave and it's driving me crazy how it beeps really loud three times when it's finished. It doesn't seem to have a "menu" where I can do anything. I've searched and pushed every button to look for it.

can't change it, but if you push stop button when it starts, it will stop.

It is possible but you need to open up the front panel and completely remove the buzzer. This person made a video demonstrating how.https://youtu.be/5NkhQSNLlDs

I swear to you I searched my owners manual. I'll let you know if this works.

That doesn’t work...it just sets the clock no matter how long you hold it or how many times you push it

You tube videos seem to work for the models shown on the video, but the off option must be for different model microwaves that don't have the off option.

Set time on the clock good luck
Testimonial: "I do not understand your comment. Manufacturer tells me there is no option to stop the beep. It beeps at the end of it's cycle 3 times then beeps 3 more times after the door is opened. Most annoying item I can remember"

I had a microwave that would beep unless you set the time

Microwaves are cheap. If I can't figure this out I'll buy a new one soon. I can't stand the beeping.

No you can't. The turntable needs to rotate the food or the microwave energy will burn holes in your food. The rotation spreads the heat evenly throughout the food. You can test it by removing the turntable and put a plate on the base with a pound of butter on it. Microwave on full power for a minute. Notice the holes?

We don’t know your capabilities. I do know there are components inside a microwave, that if not handled properly, can kill you. I’d call a technician or replace it.

The fuse for this model is located on a small filter circuit board located just behind the grill.
I have a video at my site which shows you how to remove the grill (and controller assembly if necessary) on a typical over the range microwave oven.
See microwavecontrol.com and feel free to contact me directly through there if you have additional questions.
The support page for your microwave is here, and you can download the wiring diagram there.

I realize this is 2 years old, but all you do is hold down stop/cancel for 3 seconds. That also turns on child lock.

Hopefully no one sprayed a liquid cleaner directly onto or near the keypad...
From page 23 of the owner's manual:
"Wipe the microwave oven inside and out with a soft cloth and and warm (not hot) mild detergent solution. Then rinse and wipe completely dry."
"Clean the outside surface of the microwave with soap and a clean damp cloth. Dry with a clean soft cloth. To prevent damage to the operating parts of the oven, do not let water seep into any vents or openings."
If there is moisture damage, it may dry out by itself if you leave it overnight with the door open. If not, the warranty would be voided and you'd have to arrange for out of warranty service.
If there is no moisture damage, and it failed not due to outside forces, then you should contact the manufacturer to arrange warranty service.

Hey JT Tai, I appreciate your post!
The symbol at the top left hand side of your display could be child lock symbol or vent symbol. If it is the child lock you should be able to press and hold the stop/cancel button down for 3 seconds to release the child lock.
If the light is on for the vent I would seek assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair to be completed on your microwave. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand you are trying to unlock your Frigidaire microwave, model# FFMV164LSA. This has two different meanings to me. First, if the door is locked and will not come open, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. Secondly, the control lock is on. If the control lock is on, you will need to press and hold down the "Stop/Cancel" button for 3-5 seconds, to unlock it. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your microwave status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-
