Good store but training of clerks seems a bit lacking
Just bought a frig today and the salesperson miscalculated the 10% discount. My fault I was distracted and did not review the receipt until back at the office.

The Paint Counter
Although 99% of the people who work at this Home Depot do a great job for the customers, I have learned from several people that my bad experience at the paint counter is normal for that department. Whether it is hiring the wrong people or not enough training, it would behoove Home Depot to remedy the far less than stellar performance of the women working behind the paint counter.

Beware of HD return policy. If you have your receipt and product is in stock at the price you purchased it, it won't matter if you are a day over 90 days, they will not accept your return. Clearly want good customers to pay for their thieves.

Great customer service!
I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by Joyce at Home Depot, and I am beyond impressed with the exceptional service I received. Initially, I was informed that the item I was looking for was out of stock, but Joyce didn't stop there. She took the time to thoroughly search for the item, demonstrating a level of dedication that is truly commendable.After some diligent searching, Joyce discovered the item buried under many boxes. Recognizing that she needed some extra help, she immediately asked her colleague, Walter, for assistance. Walter didn't hesitate for a moment and lifted numerous heavy boxes just so I could get the item I needed.Joyce and Walter went above and beyond in terms of customer service. Their teamwork, determination, and willingness to help are qualities that should be celebrated. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a pleasant and successful visit. I am incredibly grateful for their efforts and will certainly return to this Home Depot because of the outstanding service provided by Joyce and Walter. Thank you both for making my day!

Garden department is great!
I have been to the Garden Department several times over the last couple of months. Judy knows everything about the plants and where they are. Mia the cashier is friendly and helpful and has always stepped up to help me and Carl is great at packing my car with everything I have been purchasing. Hooray for them!
